Probably most of you will be asking “What kind of a name is that?”…

My name was given by my father, J. Joeffril Joesoef based on Sanskrit language. Because of his background who love history so much (especially ancient history, national and international).

No, I’m not a Javanese and not Hindi.. I was born in Jakarta, but my father and my mother, Husnidar Joeffril are from Padang, West Sumatra.

And there’s a meaning behind my long name. In Indonesian, “Ayam Jago Putih yg Jantan dan Perkasa”. In English, “The Smart and Dashing White Rooster”. Swetajaloe itself means “White Rooster”.

To think of it, there’s a lot of burden to carry such a name. Because It means my parents had a lot of hopes for me. And until now, I try to be devoted child. Hoping someday i will make them more proud of what I am now.
